CLR James’ “The Black Jacobins”

Description This is a review essay that should begin with an original thesis. This essay should begin with a thesis on what how CLR James makes a strong case throughout the book that it was essentially a class struggle, and not necessarily race that cause the tension and subsequent revolutions in both Haiti and France. Also this essay should touch on how James’ writing of this story contributes to the knowledge of Black Radical Tradition.
